Construction Accidents

Construction accident victims often assume that their only recourse after suffering a job site injury is the workers' compensation system. Unfortunately, comp benefits only cover medical expenses and a portion of the worker's lost wages, leaving pain, suffering and a number of other less tangible but very real damages uncompensated.

When defective products, third party negligence, or employer safety violations have played a significant role, construction accident victims have the right to file civil lawsuits and seek full compensation from the responsible parties.

Don't Wait to Speak to a Lawyer

An independent investigation should begin as soon as possible in order to preserve the evidence and establish the cause of the accident. By contacting a lawyer sooner rather than later, you can take action to preserve the potential civil claims you may have against negligent third parties.

No matter how you were injured — in a falling accident, in a crane accident, because of a trench collapse, etc. — talk to a lawyer and find out what your legal rights are, and what options are available for compensation.

In addition to handling personal injury lawsuits, I also help injured workers in Connecticut and Rhode Island obtain workers' compensation benefits.
